Building Regulations 2003

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Building Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Building Regulations 2003 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 3 September 2003.

3.   Interpretation

In these regulations,

Act means the Building Act 2000 .

4.   Fee for appeal under section 42 of Act

(1)  The fee prescribed for an appeal under section 42 of the Act is 200 fee units.

(2)  The fee prescribed in subregulation (1) is payable to the Director.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.
