Nursing (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2003

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Nursing Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Nursing (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2003 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the seventh day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Nursing (Fees) Regulations 1998 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Fees)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting item 1 and substituting the following:

1. Application fee for registration or enrolment

section 21(1)(c)

$75

(b) by omitting item 2 and substituting the following:

2. Application fee for authorisation

section 33(1)(c)

$45

(c) by omitting item 3 and substituting the following:

3. Practising certificate fee

section 21(1)(c) section 50(2)(a)

$110
