Sewers and Drains (Coles Bay Urban Land Drainage District) Order 2003

I make the following order under section 4(4) of the Sewers and Drains Act 1954 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Sewers and Drains (Coles Bay Urban Land Drainage District) Order 2003 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

In this order,

Act means the Sewers and Drains Act 1954 .

4.   Coles Bay Urban Land Drainage District

The area of land defined in Schedule 1 to this order is –

(a) appointed to be, and is defined as, an urban land drainage district; and

(b) named the Coles Bay Urban Land Drainage District.

5.   Declared purpose

For the purpose of section 8 of the Act, the declared purpose of the area of land referred to in clause 4 is to carry off natural water, whether concentrated or not.

SCHEDULE 1 - Coles Bay Urban Land Drainage District

All that land shown bounded by a heavy black line on Plan No. 6212 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this order.

SCHEDULE 2 - Plan

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
