Trustee Companies (Merger) Order 2003

I make the following order under section 12 of the Trustee Companies (Merger) Act 2001 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Trustee Companies (Merger) Order 2003 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

In this order, "Act" means the Trustee Companies Act 1953 .

4.    Schedule 2 amended (Trustee Companies)

Schedule 2 to the Act is amended by omitting

Tasmanian Trustees Limited.

and substituting:

Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Limited.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 2 April 2003

This order is administered in the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order gives effect to the change of name of Tasmanian Trustees Limited to Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees Limited.
