Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 16(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970  –

(a) declare that the areas of Crown land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation, being areas of land within reserved land known as the Tamar River Conservation Area, cease to be part of that reserved land; and
(b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Excised Areas – Tamar River Conservation Area
All those areas of land comprising 4 121 square metres and 411.1 square metres shown as Lot 1 and Lot 2 and bounded as indicated by heavy black lines on Plan Number 5806 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
