Proclamation under the Forest Practices Amendment (Conservation Covenants) Act 2002

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Forest Practices Amendment (Conservation Covenants) Act 2002 fix 11 September 2002 as the day on which that Act commences.

This proclamation fixes 11 September 2002 as the day on which the Forest Practices Amendment (Conservation Covenants) Act 2002 commences. A further, indirect, effect of the proclamation is that the National Parks and Wildlife Amendment (Conservation Covenants) Act 2002 will also commence on that day.
