Wellington Park Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Wellington Park Act 1993 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Wellington Park Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2001 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Wellington Park Regulations 1999 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 43 and Schedule 1 inserted

After regulation 42 of the Principal Regulations , the following regulation and Schedule are inserted:

43.   Prescribed offences

For the purpose of section 71A of the Act –

(a) an offence against a regulation specified in Column 2 of Schedule 1 is a prescribed offence; and

(b) the penalty specified in Column 3 of that Schedule opposite the regulation is the penalty applicable to that offence.
