Racing and Gaming Amendment (Place Betting) Regulations (No. 2) 2001
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Racing Regulation Act 1952 .

These regulations may be cited as the Racing and Gaming Amendment (Place Betting) Regulations (No. 2) 2001 .
These regulations take effect on 19 November 2001.
In these regulations, the Racing and Gaming Regulations 1976 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 114B amended (Prescribed percentage for purposes of section 57M of Act)
Regulation 114B of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulation (2).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations have the effect of increasing, in accordance with interstate business arrangements, the amount that TOTE Tasmania deducts as commission from its total receipts for place totalizator betting.
