Environmental Management and Pollution Control (General Fees) Amendment Regulations 2001
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 .

These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (General Fees) Amendment Regulations 2001 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (General Fees) Regulations 1995 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
Part 4 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Hazardous" from item 5(a)(ii)(C) and substituting "Controlled".

These regulations change a reference to hazardous waste in the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (General Fees) Regulations 1995 to controlled waste consequent on the commencement of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Amendment Act 2000 .
