Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and with the approval of each House of Parliament, by this my proclamation made under sections 16(1) and 14(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
30 July 2001(a) declare that the area of Crown land declared to be a scenic reserve and known as Henty Glacial Moraine Scenic Reserve in Statutory Rules 1970, No. 124, and deemed reserved land in the class of State reserve under section 53(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 , ceases to be reserved land; and(b) declare the Crown land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of State reserve; and(c) give the name Henty Glacial Erratics State Reserve to that reserved land; and(d) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This proclamation declares (a) that the Henty Glacial Moraine Scenic Reserve ceases to be reserved land; and(b) certain land to be reserved land in the class of State reserve and names that land Henty Glacial Erratics State Reserve.
