Taxation Administration Amendment Regulations 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxation Administration Act 1997 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Taxation Administration Amendment Regulations 2001 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Taxation Administration Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 4 substituted

Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded and the following regulation is substituted:

4.   Permitted disclosures

The following persons are prescribed persons for the purpose of section 77(1)(e)(vi) of the Act:
(a) a person employed in the Department administering the Act who provides advice on taxation policy;
(b) an authorised officer as defined in the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 .
