Public Health (Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2001
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Health Act 1997 .

These regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2001 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Public Health (Infringement Notices) Regulations 1998 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations make further provision prescribing (a) offences under the Public Health Act 1997 as offences in respect of which infringement notices may be issued; and(b) the penalties payable in respect of those offences on the issue of the infringement notices.
