Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, on the recommendation of the Minister and with the approval of each House of Parliament, by this my proclamation made under section 14(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
21 December 2000(a) declare the land, the approximate area of which is specified in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation and is indicated as shown bounded by heavy black lines on the relevant plan listed in Column 3 of that Schedule, to be reserved land in the class of nature reserve; and(b) give the relevant name specified in Column 1 of that Schedule to that reserved land; and(c) declare the land, the approximate area of which is specified in Column 2 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation and is indicated as shown bounded by heavy black lines on the relevant plan listed in Column 3 of that Schedule, to be reserved land in the class of State reserve; and(d) give the relevant name specified in Column 1 of that Schedule to that reserved land; and(e) declare the land, the approximate area of which is specified in Column 2 of Schedule 3 to this proclamation and is indicated as shown bounded by heavy black lines on the relevant plan listed in Column 3 of that Schedule, to be reserved land in the class of national park; and(f) give the relevant name specified in Column 1 of that Schedule to that reserved land; and(g) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day proclaimed under section 2(2) of the Regional Forest Agreement (Land Classification) Act 1998 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This proclamation (a) declares certain land to be reserved land under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 in the class of nature reserve, State reserve or national park; and(b) names that land.
