Dairy Industry Amendment Regulations 2000

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Dairy Industry Act 1994 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Dairy Industry Amendment Regulations 2000 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 1 January 2001.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Dairy Industry Regulations 1994 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Schedule 1 substituted

Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is rescinded and the following Schedule is substituted:
SCHEDULE 1 - Fees
PART 1 - Dairy farmer's licence

Regulation 6

1.   Dairy farmer's licence, effective 1 January 2002
(a) Issue of licence –
(i) if paid in full on or before issue, $180
(ii) if paid in instalments, $210 in 3 annual instalments of $70
(b) Renewal of licence –
(i) if paid in full on or before issue, $180
(ii) if paid in instalments, $210 in 3 annual instalments of $70
PART 2 - Vendor's licence
1.   Vendor's licence, effective 1 January 2003
(a) Issue of licence –
(i) if paid in full on or before issue, $150
(ii) if paid in instalments, $180 in 3 annual instalments of $60
(b) Renewal of licence –
(i) if paid in full on or before issue, $150
(ii) if paid in instalments, $180 in 3 annual instalments of $60
PART 3 - Processor's licence
1.   Processor's licence, effective 1 January 2001
(a) Application for licence, $100
(b) Issue of licence –
(i) if the intake of milk is 2 000 tonnes or less, $500
(ii) if the intake of milk is more than 2 000 tonnes, $3 000
(c) Renewal of licence –
(i) if the intake of milk is 2 000 tonnes or less, $500
(ii) if the intake of milk is more than 2 000 tonnes, $3 000
PART 4 - Manufacturer's licence
1.   Manufacturer's licence, effective 1 January 2001
(a) Application for licence, $100
(b) Issue of licence –
(i) if the intake of milk is 2 000 tonnes or less, $500
(ii) if the intake of milk is more than 2 000 tonnes, $3 000
(c) Renewal of licence –
(i) if the intake of milk is 2 000 tonnes or less, $500
(ii) if the intake of milk is more than 2 000 tonnes, $3 000
