Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 15C(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970  –

(a) give the area of land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation, declared to be a conservation area in the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1977, No. 93, the name Tathams Lagoon Conservation Area; and

(b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Tathams Lagoon Conservation Area

All that area of land comprising about 12.6 hectares shown bounded by a heavy black line on Plan Number 4898 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This proclamation gives the name Tathams Lagoon Conservation Area to certain reserved land not previously given a name under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 .
