Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 2000
I make the following order under section 197 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 2000 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 4 amended (Taking of acclimatised fish)
Clause 4(1) of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting subparagraph (i) from paragraph (a) ;(b) by omitting subparagraph (iv) from paragraph (a) ;(c) by omitting from paragraph (e) "St Clair." and substituting "St Clair;";(d) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (e) :(f) on and from 29 July 2000 (i) Craigbourne Dam; and(ii) Great Lake, other than Canal Bay; and(iii) Lake Barrington; and(iv) Lake Burbury; and(v) Lake Gordon; and(vi) Lake King William; and(vii) Lake Pedder.
5. Clause 5 amended (Taking indigenous fish)
Clause 5 of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting paragraph (b) ;(b) by omitting from paragraph (d) " Inland Fisheries Regulations 1996 " and substituting " Inland Fisheries (Recreational Fishing) Regulations 1999 (S.R. 1999, No. 157) ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the order)
This order amends the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 by (a) providing that acclimatised fish may be taken on and from 29 July 2000 at certain places; and(b) prohibiting the taking of freshwater crayfish.
