Road Safety (Alcohol and Drugs) Amendment (Public Vehicles Reform) Regulations 2000
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Road Safety (Alcohol and Drugs) Act 1970 .

These regulations may be cited as the Road Safety (Alcohol and Drugs) Amendment (Public Vehicles Reform) Regulations 2000 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Passenger Transport Act 1997 commences.
In these regulations, the Road Safety (Alcohol and Drugs) Regulations 1999 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
Form 3 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting, from paragraph (c) on the back of the form, "public vehicle" and substituting "prescribed vehicle".

These regulations amend the Road Safety (Alcohol and Drugs) Regulations 1999 consequent on the public vehicle reforms effected by the Passenger Transport Act 1997 and related legislation.
