Forest Practices Amendment Regulations 1999

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Forest Practices Board, make the following regulations under the Forest Practices Act 1985 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Forest Practices Amendment Regulations 1999 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Forest Practices Regulations 1997 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 4 amended (Application fee)

Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "$100" and substituting "$350".

These regulations are administered by the Forest Practices Board.

These regulations amend the Forest Practices Regulations 1997 by increasing the fee for an application to have land declared as a private timber reserve from $100 to $350.
