Proclamation under the Emergency Services Act 1976
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, by this my proclamation made under section 13 of the Emergency Services Act 1976
15 November 1999(a) declare that, for the purposes of the administration of that Act, the State is divided into the southern region, the northern region and the north-western region, as defined in section 43(2) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1931 ; and(b) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1988, No. 86; and(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
