Valuers Registration Order 1999

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 3(3) of the Valuers Registration Act 1974 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Valuers Registration Order 1999 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Effect of section 3 of the Valuers Registration Act 1974

Section 3 of the Valuers Registration Act 1974 is declared to have effect as if any reference in that section to the Commonwealth Institute of Valuers were a reference to the Australian Property Institute, incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 of South Australia.

This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order declares that section 3 of the Valuers Registration Act 1974 has effect as if any reference in that section to the Commonwealth Institute of Valuers were a reference to the Australian Property Institute, incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 of South Australia.
