Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 1999

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 1999 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if this order were by-laws.

4.   Principal Order

In this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order 1999 is referred to as the Principal Order.

5.    Schedule 1 amended (Administration of departments and enactments)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting "Civil Construction Services Corporation Act 1994" from the list of Acts specified under the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources which appears under the heading "MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, ENERGY AND RESOURCES";
(b) by inserting "Civil Construction Services Corporation Act 1994" after "Cinema Act (Repeal) Act 1992" in the list of Acts specified under the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations which appears under the heading "MINISTER FOR JUSTICE AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS".

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Administrative Arrangements Order 1999 by transferring responsibility for the administration of the Civil Construction Services Corporation Act 1994 from the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources and Minister for Infrastructure, Energy and Resources to the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations and Minister for Justice and Industrial Relations.
