Fisheries (General and Fees) Amendment Regulations 1999
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 .

These regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (General and Fees) Amendment Regulations 1999 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Fisheries (General and Fees) Regulations 1996 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 18 amended (Prohibition on taking certain fish)
Regulation 18(3) of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from paragraph (b) "baskingshark" and substituting "basking shark";(b) by omitting from paragraph (d) "magamouth" and substituting "megamouth".
5. Schedule 1 amended (Licence fees)
Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by inserting after paragraph (b) in item 9 the following paragraph:
(c) Annual fee to take scallops, each unit

(b) by omitting items 11 and 12 and substituting the following item:

Fishing licence (giant crab) Renewal, each quota unit
$135
6. Schedule 1A amended (Miscellaneous fees)
Schedule 1A to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting item 7.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations (a) omit certain items relating to certain fishing licences fees as they are contained elsewhere in the Schedule; and(b) prescribe fees for taking scallops and for renewal of fishing licences (giant crab); and(c) correct typographical errors.
