Tasmanian State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 1999
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 6 of the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 .

This order may be cited as the Tasmanian State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 1999 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Agencies)
Division 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended by inserting in the item relating to the Department of Police "and Public Safety" after "Police".

This order amends Schedule 1 to the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984 , which specifies the Agencies and Heads of Agencies, consequential on the change of name of the Department of Police to the Department of Police and Public Safety.
