Noxious Weeds Order 1998
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1964 .

This order may be cited as the Noxious Weeds Order 1998 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Noxious, secondary and prohibited weeds in whole of State
(1) The plants specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this order are noxious weeds in the whole of the State.(2) The plants specified in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this order are secondary weeds in the whole of the State.(3) The plants specified in Part 3 of Schedule 1 to this order are prohibited weeds in the whole of the State.
4. Secondary weeds in WaratahWynyard municipal area
The plants specified in Schedule 2 to this order are secondary weeds in the WaratahWynyard municipal area.
The Noxious Weeds Order 1987 (being Statutory Rules 1987, No. 194) is rescinded.
