Financial Management and Audit Order 1998

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 5(3) of the Financial Management and Audit Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Financial Management and Audit Order 1998 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if the order were by-laws.

4.    Financial Management and Audit Act 1990 amended

Schedule 1 to the Financial Management and Audit Act 1990 is repealed and the following Schedule is substituted:
