Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Amendment Regulations 1998

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Amendment Regulations 1998 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 1997 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 88 amended (Expiry)

Regulation 88 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "31 July 1998" and substituting "31 December 1998".

These regulations amend the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 1997 by changing the expiry from 31 July 1998 to 31 December 1998.
