Financial Institutions Duty Amendment Regulations 1998
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Financial Institutions Duty Act 1986 .

These regulations may be cited as the Financial Institutions Duty Amendment Regulations 1998 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Financial Institutions Duty Regulations 1986 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 6A amended (Prescribed persons for the purposes of section 31(11)(g) of Act)
Regulation 6A of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after paragraph (c) the following paragraph:(ca) the Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation;

These regulations amend the Financial Institutions Duty Regulations 1986 by prescribing the Tasmanian Public Finance Corporation as an eligible person for the purposes of section 31(11)(g) of the Financial Institutions Duty Act 1986 .
