Traffic (Miscellaneous) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 1998
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Traffic Act 1925 .

These regulations may be cited as the Traffic (Miscellaneous) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 1998 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Traffic (Miscellaneous) Regulations 1968 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 101 amended (Offences)
Regulation 101(2)(h) of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after "contrivance" second occurring "unless permitted under a by-law made by a council".

These regulations amend the Traffic (Miscellaneous) Regulations 1968 by allowing a person to ride on or use a scooter or a roller skate on a public street if permitted under a by-law made by a council.
