Pharmacy Notice 1997

The Pharmacy Board of Tasmania makes the following notice under section 36(2) of the Pharmacy Act 1908 .

1.   Short title

This notice may be cited as the Pharmacy Notice 1997 .

2.   Commencement

This notice takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

In this notice,
Act means the Pharmacy Act 1908 .

4.   Principal Act

In this notice, the Pharmacy Act 1908 is referred to as the Principal Act.

5.    Schedule II substituted

Schedule II to the Principal Act is repealed and the following Schedule is substituted:
SCHEDULE II - Fees Payable to the Board under this Act

(a) For the issue of any annual certificate of registration to any pharmaceutical chemist

(b) For an application for registration or renewal of registration of a pharmacy under section 30B of the Act

(c) For the transfer of the registration of pharmacy premises

(d) For the issue of every certificate of identity

(e) For the lodging of every contract of service in respect of pre-registration education

(f) For the inspection of pharmacy services

(g) For late payment of annual registration fees

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the notice)

This notice increases the fees payable under the Pharmacy Act 1908 in respect of the registration of pharmaceutical chemists and pharmacies from $140 to $145.
