Mental Health Amendment Act 2009
An Act to amend the Mental Health Amendment Act 2005
[Royal Assent 12 November 2009]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Mental Health Amendment Act 2009 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
In this Act, the Mental Health Amendment Act 2005 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Section 19 amended (Expiry)
Section 19(1) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "4 years and 6 months" and substituting "6 years and 6 months".
This Act is repealed on the ninetieth day from the day on which it commences.
