Inland Fisheries Amendment Act 2009
An Act to amend the Inland Fisheries Act 1995
[Royal Assent 27 April 2009]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Inland Fisheries Amendment Act 2009 .
This Act commences on the day on which the Living Marine Resources Management Amendment Act 2009 commences.
In this Act, the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Section 4 amended (Freshwater fish)
Section 4(1)(b) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "during any time they are outside inland waters" and substituting "during any time they are in, or after they have been taken from, State waters".
