Aboriginal Land Council Elections Amendment Act 2000
An Act to amend the Aboriginal Land Council Elections Act 1999
[Royal Assent 14 July 2000]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Aboriginal Land Council Elections Amendment Act 2000 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
In this Act, the Aboriginal Land Council Elections Act 1999 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Section 3 amended (Second Council election)
Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "31 December 2000" and substituting "30 June 2001".
