EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order, for the purposes of the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals Act 1999  –

(a) provides for a further period within which the Tasmanian Planning Commission may grant or refuse to grant a permit for a use or development of the North West Transmission Upgrades Project; and

(b) revokes a previous order that provided for such a period.
