EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations, for the purposes of the Police Offences Act 1935 –(a) prescribe public places where consumption of liquor is permanently or periodically prohibited; and(b) prescribe offences for which vehicles can be confiscated or clamped under the Act; and(c) prescribe certain miscellaneous matters including persons, fees, amounts and infringement notice offence penalties; and(d) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Police Offences Regulations 2014 under section 11(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
