EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) for the purposes of the Relationships Act 2003 –(i) specify the process for an order for periodic maintenance, made by the Supreme Court under the Act, to be recorded as if it were a judgment of the Magistrates Court; and(ii) prescribe certain classes of relationships to be significant relationships; and(iii) prescribe certain fees payable under the Act; and(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Relationships Regulations 2013 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
