These regulations amend the Luxury Hire Car Industry Regulations 2018 by –(a) requiring that a vehicle must not be operated as a luxury hire car for the first time unless it has an ANCAP rating of 5 stars and is not more than 7 years old; and(b) specifying maximum age requirements for luxury hire cars.
