Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Regulations 2020

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations, for the purposes of the Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Act 1973  –

(a) provide for –

(i) the payment of premiums; and

(ii) claims for scheduled benefits; and

(iii) the calculation of scheduled benefits; and

(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Regulations 2010 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
