EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) prescribe the Law Society of Tasmania as the prescribed authority for the purposes of certain provisions of the Legal Profession Act 2007 ; and(b) prescribe the Legal Profession Board of Tasmania as the prescribed authority for the purposes of certain provisions of the Legal Profession Act 2007 ; and(c) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Legal Profession (Prescribed Authorities) Regulations 2008 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
