EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) prescribe nationally consistent vehicle standards for Tasmania and generally set out the obligations that drivers and other vehicle users have in relation to those standards; and(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Vehicle and Traffic (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 2001 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
