EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) prescribe technical and safety requirements for the safe operation of regulated activities; and(b) provide for the reporting of incidents; and(c) provide for safety and operating plans, and the safety management system, to be observed; and(d) provide for standards to be followed relating to gas infrastructure installations and gas-fitting work; and(e) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Gas (Safety) Regulations 2002 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
