EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Mineral Resources Regulations 2006 by increasing –

(a) the prescribed rates of royalty payable by lessees and licensees in respect of minerals; and

(b) the fees specified in Schedule 2 to those regulations; and

(c) the rent payable for land over which licences and leases are granted.
