EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Fisheries (General and Fees) Regulations 2006 so as to –(a) extend the Perkins Bay greenlip area, being an area adjacent to the north coast of Tasmania in respect of which the minimum size limit for the shell length of greenlip abalone is 132 millimetres; and(b) allow the Minister to extend the duration of a management plan, once only, for a period not exceeding 12 months.
