EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations –(a) provide for a range of matters relating to pilots, pilotage and navigation under the Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 ; and(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 1997 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
