EXPLANATORY NOTE

These rules amend the Fisheries (Abalone) Rules 2000 by –(a) removing the requirement for Franklin Sound to be closed for the taking of green-lipped abalone; and(b) adding Tam O'Shanter Bay and North East River to the definition of "designated port"; and(c) making a minor administrative change.
