Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment (Trade and Number Plates) Regulations 2001

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations extend, from 14 days to 3 months, the period within which the following plates are required to be returned to the Registrar of Motor Vehicles:

(a) number plates from a vehicle that has ceased to be registered (other than seasonally);

(b) trade plates that have expired without renewal or been cancelled.
