EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) revise and augment the Regulator's supervisory powers over electrical contractors as regards insurance requirements; and(b) provide, so as to improve the administration of the licensing regime under the Electricity Industry Safety and Administration Act 1997 , that licensees must notify the Regulator of certain particulars, including any change of name or address.
