EXPLANATORY NOTE

These regulations declare certain laws of Tasmania relating to electrical articles to be exempt from the operation of the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act 1997 of the Commonwealth. By virtue of section 46 of that Act, the exemption cannot operate for a period longer than 12 months.
