Proclamation under the Nature Conservation Act 2002

I, the Administrator in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 21(1) and section 17(1) of the Nature Conservation Act 2002  –

(a) declare that the area of Crown land specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation, being an area of land within reserved land known as the Trevallyn State Reserve, ceases to be part of that reserved land; and
(b) in respect of the area of Crown land specified in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this proclamation that was declared reserved land in the class of State reserve and given the name Trevallyn State Reserve –
(i) declare that land to be reserved land in the class of nature recreation area; and
(ii) give the name Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area to that reserved land; and
(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Areas of land
PART 1 - Partial revocation of Trevallyn State Reserve
All that area of land comprising 1.711 hectares, shown as Lot 1 and bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 6565 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 1 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
PART 2 - Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area
All that area of land comprising about 438.3 hectares, shown as Lot 1, in two parts, and bounded by heavy black lines on Plan 6566 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Part 2 of Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
