Marine and Safety (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2008
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 .

These regulations may be cited as the Marine and Safety (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2008 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations –[Regulation 4 Rescinded by No. 31 of 2013, s. 30, Applied:02 Sep 2013]Act means the Marine and Safety Authority Act 1997 .
5. Offences under Marine and Safety (Collision) Regulations 2007
(1) For section 45(1) of the Act, an offence against a provision of the Marine and Safety (Collision) Regulations 2007 specified in column 1 of Schedule 2 is a prescribed offence.(2) The penalty specified in column 2 of that Schedule opposite that provision is the penalty payable under an infringement notice served in respect of that offence.
6. Offences under Marine and Safety (Maritime Incidents) Regulations 2017
(1) [Regulation 6 Subregulation (1) amended by S.R. 2017, No. 86, Applied:29 Nov 2017] For section 45(1) of the Act, an offence against a provision of the Marine and Safety (Maritime Incidents) Regulations 2017 specified in column 1 of Schedule 3 is a prescribed offence.(2) The penalty specified in column 2 of that Schedule opposite that provision is the penalty payable under an infringement notice served in respect of that offence.
7. Offences under Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017
[Regulation 7 Substituted by S.R. 2017, No. 46, Applied:27 Jul 2017][Regulation 8 Rescinded by No. 31 of 2013, s. 31, Applied:02 Sep 2013](1) For section 45(1) of the Act, an offence against a provision of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017 specified in column 1 of Schedule 4 is a prescribed offence.(2) The penalty specified in column 2 of that Schedule opposite that provision is the penalty payable under an infringement notice served in respect of that offence.
8A. Offences under Marine and Safety (General) Regulations 2010
[Regulation 8A Inserted by S.R. 2010, No. 49, Applied:01 Jul 2010](1) For section 45(1) of the Act, an offence against a provision of the Marine and Safety (General) Regulations 2010 specified in column 1 of Schedule 5A is a prescribed offence.(2) The penalty specified in column 2 of that Schedule opposite that provision is the penalty payable under an infringement notice served in respect of that offence.
The legislation specified in Schedule 6 is rescinded.
