Constitution Amendment (Constitutional Recognition of Aboriginal People) Act 2016
An Act to amend the preamble of the Constitution Act 1934 to provide for the constitutional recognition of Aboriginal people

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Constitution Amendment (Constitutional Recognition of Aboriginal People) Act 2016 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
In this Act, the Constitution Act 1934 is referred to as the Principal Act.
The amendment effected by this section has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Constitution Act 1934 .
This Act is repealed on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it commences.
